Leiningen/Prussia religious Wedding in Amorbach

On Saturday 16. September the small town Amorbach, the residence of the Princely Family zu Leiningen saw a big noble Wedding when Hereditary Prince Ferdinand zu Leiningen and Princess Viktoria Luise of Prussia had their reilgious wedding there. The Couple had already married in a civil Ceremony on 29. April. Hereditary Prince Ferdinand is the oldest son of Fürst Andreas zu Leiningen and his wife Alexandra, née Princess of Hannover while Princess Viktoria Luise is the only daughter of the late Prince Friedrich Wilhelm of Prussia and his second wife Ehrengard, née von Reden. They couple is related several ways among other the groom’s great-grandmother Fürstin Maria zu Leiningen, née Grand Duchess of  Russia and the bride’s grandmother Princess Kira of Prussia, née Grand Duchess of Russia where sisters.
I decided to travel to Amorbach for the occasion of the Wedding where i arrived the day before. On the Evening before a pre-Wedding reception took place at the Marsstall next to the the Palace. On the Wedding das i went early to the Church to save a good spot. There i meet among others Svenya from Castleholic. Soon some barrers where put on place we could stand behind them as it turned out between the Press people. Around 1 hour before the service was starting among others Princes Christan and Philipp of Prussia arrived. A bit later came Prince Chrstian Ludwig of Prussia, a first cousin of the bride. They greeted the guests before the Church. Soon more guests arrived. Some came on foot from the backside of the Church and many where driven in Busses who stopped luckily not direct before us but a bit further on the street so the guests had to walk the last bit to the Church. Short before 11 a clock the Families of bride and groom  came in a procession from the Palace. It was lead by the groom, Hereditary Prince Ferdinand with his mother, Fürstin Alexandra, followed the groom’s father, Fürst Andreas with the bride’s mother, Princess Ehrengard. Behind followed the siblings of bride and groom and some other people. A bit later the car with the bride came. She was accompaned by her older brothr, Priinc Friedrich Wilhelm. She whore the prussian Meander tiara which was once given as a Wedding gift by her great-grandfather Crown Prince Wilhelm to his bride Duchess Cecilie zu Mecklenburg-Schwerin and later worn by her grandmother Grand Duchess Kira of Russia at her Wedding to Prince Louis Ferdinand of Prussia. After they had gone uop the stars they even came to the Balustrade on the little Podest before the Church  and waved to the weaintg. people. After the Wedding Service which lasted a bit more then 1 hour the new Hereditard Prince and Hereditary Princess zu Leiningen posed on the Podest before the church where the waved to the waiting crowd. They where then joined by the groom’s parents Fürst Andreas and Fürstin Alexandra and the bride’s mother Princess Ehrengard and her younger brother, Prince Joachim Albrecht. Then they went down the stairs on the left side and at the little place at the bottom of the stars the posed again. They where then again joined by their parents, siblings ant the witnesses. After a few minutes an open carriage came down the road and after entering it the birdal couple was driven to the reception. Their Families and the guests all came dwon the stairs and where either driven to rhe recption or walked the little distance. I and my friends then had a little drink and something to eat. I and anothr friend then decided to wait and see the guests leaving the reception.
